Electric bikes are an excellent option for those without a driver’s license or for travelers preferring an eco-friendly, low-effort way to get around town. They are well-suited for commuting short distances, sightseeing, or accessing the beach and local amenities.
🪖 Always wear the helmet provided with your bicycle, it is 100% free and can save your life in a fall or accident.
🚫 Riding our bicycle under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited. If stopped by police while impaired, you are responsible for all consequences and recovery costs.
🐢 Keep your speed reasonable on the road, especially if you are new to riding e bikes.
🛣️ Try to avoid riding on the highway connecting Playa del Carmen, Tulum, and Cancún for too long distances. E bike speeds are not suitable or safe there.
🔒 To minimize theft risk, it’s advised to leave the bicycle outside only during daytime and for short to medium stops and not the whole day, always using the provided Gold Standard Kryptonite hardened steel lock. We will show you proper locking techniques.
🏠 When you are home for longer periods during day, store the bicycle indoors.
🌃 It’s a requirement to store the bicycle home at night when theft risk is 10x higher. If space is limited, the bike can be folded easily (we will show you how to fold it).
💵 To receive your full deposit back, return the bicycle in the same condition, including all equipment. This includes keys, helmet, charger, and the Gold Standard Kryptonite steel lock.
📸 For fairness and transparency, we will take photos of the bicycle before the rental begins.
🔞 What is the minimum age to rent an e-bike? You need to be at least 18 years old to rent and ride any of our electric bikes. No exceptions.
📄 What documents do we require? No driver’s license is needed to rent an e-bike. All we ask is a valid ID (like a passport or national ID card), which you can send to us via WhatsApp or email — a photo is enough, we don’t need the original.
We accept a variety of payment methods. You can pay with:

📊 How Much Is the Deposit? It depends on the e-bike model, but in most cases, the deposit ranges between 3000 and 5000 MXN.
🔐 Why Do You Take a Deposit? The deposit serves as a safety net in case of rule violations, late returns, equipment loss, or damage. It also guarantees that the e-bike will come back in the same condition as it was rented.
⚠️ In What Cases Can You Keep the Deposit? Part or all of the deposit may be withheld if the e-bike is returned damaged or stolen without optional insurance coverage. Deductions may also apply for things like lost keys, charger, helmet, lock, or late return without prior notice.

🚚 Do you charge extra for delivery and pick-up? No — delivery and pick-up are 100% free anywhere in Playa del Carmen. No hidden fees, ever.
📦 How does delivery and pick-up work? Once your rental is confirmed, just send us your location pin via WhatsApp. We’ll deliver the e-bike to your hotel, Airbnb, café — wherever you are. At the end of the rental, we’ll pick it up from the same spot unless you arrange otherwise.
🤔 Why is it free? Because it should be! We’re a local company, and we believe your rental experience should be smooth, simple, and hassle-free from start to finish.
📍Can I return the e-bike to a different spot? Yes — as long as it’s still within Playa del Carmen. Just let us know ahead of time so we can schedule the pickup accordingly.
⏳ Can I extend my e-bike rental? Absolutely — as long as the e-bike you’re using isn’t already booked by someone else. Please let us know at least 12 hours before your rental ends (during our business hours: 8AM–8PM), and we’ll try to make it work. If your model is no longer available, we can usually offer a similar one.
💸 Can I return the e-bike early and get a refund? Yes, we’re happy to refund unused rental days — just give us at least 72 hours’ notice so we have a fair chance to rebook the e-bike for someone else.
❌ Can I cancel my booking? Totally free — just let us know as soon as your plans change. We only ask for a minimum of 3 hours’ notice before the scheduled delivery to avoid wasting time and resources.

🌙 Is it safe to ride at night? It’s better to avoid it. While our e-bikes do have lights, visibility is still low and drivers may not notice you. If you must ride at night, stay in lit areas and wear something reflective.
🌧️ Can I ride in the rain? If it’s light rain, sure — just go slower and brake earlier. But avoid riding in heavy rain or storms. Water and electronics don’t mix well, and roads get slick fast. It’s always safer to wait it out.

🔑 What happens if I lose the keys, lock, or helmet? Any lost item (like the helmet, charger, key, or Kryptonite lock) will be replaced at your cost, deducted from your deposit. Please double-check before leaving a café, beach, or Airbnb.
🛠️ What if the e-bike gets damaged or stolen? We don’t include insurance for bikes by default — but you can purchase theft and damage protection for your rental. Without it, any repair or replacement cost falls on you. With insurance, you’re covered and won’t pay extra unless the issue falls outside of coverage (like leaving the bike unlocked overnight).
📸 How do you know if damage occurred during my rental? We always take detailed photos and videos before delivery. You can take your own as well. Any damage found at return that wasn’t documented before the rental will be considered your responsibility.
🚨 What if I don’t return the e-bike? We treat non-returns as theft. If you fail to return the bike without notice, we’ll report it to the police using the personal information provided during booking.
📍 How and where can I park the e-bike? Parking an e-bike is simple. You can leave it at your hotel, outside cafés, or anywhere you see other bikes parked. You can use a bicycle rack, a big tree, or anything that is thick, solid, and attached to the ground. Remember that leaving the bike outside is allowed only during daytime.
⚙️ How do I operate the e-bike? E-bikes are beginner-friendly and don’t require special skills. During delivery, we’ll show you how everything works — throttle, brakes, display, and how to turn it on/off.
🔋 Do I need to charge the e-bike? Yes — if your rental lasts more than one day, we’ll provide a charger so you can plug it in overnight. Charging is easy and can be done in any regular outlet. A full charge usually gives you 40–50 km of range, depending on usage and terrain.
